I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello, my name is DeKotah. I am 13 years old. This is my 6th year shaving my head.

I am from a town called Coal City in IL. Coal City is a small town of around 5,500 people. In the time that I have lived here, I have known too many children that have been diagnosed with cancer. All of these children are all fighters. The work that St. Baldrick's does will help to ensure that they will win their fights. I am shaving my head this year in honor of Megan, Crede, Nathan, and Jacob. I am also shaving in memory of Brayden and Gino.
Every year an estimated 263,000 children are affected by cancer world wide. Everyday 250 children lose their battle to this horrible disease. Please help me, help these children win their battle. With your help we can bring hope to all the families and children that are fighting this battle.  Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of kids fighting childhood cancers. Last year I was able to raise $1,968. This was possible because of your generous donations. This year I am going to try to raise $2,000. Please help me meet this goal and help save the lives of all the brave children that are fighting this evil disease. Thank you!
