I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 10 Strong - 2016

I'm very honored to be shaving my head in honor of my precious son Garrett with a wonderful group of moms from 10 Strong on April 3rd! We lost Garrett on June 29th 2014 after a 5 year battle with Neuroblastoma. Garrett was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma on November 30th 2009.  Our lives were changed forever. Garrett received 6 rounds of chemo, radiation, stem cell transplant, many surgeries and immunotherapy. We received wonderful news in January 2011 Garrett was NED! He returned to doing things he loved again! Baseball being his favorite! Then in July 2012 we found out Garrett had relapsed. This news was devastating, because we knew the statistics of survival rate. We did more chemo and MIBG treatment. His cancer was stable and then in December 2013 he was in great pain and unable to walk. The news again was unbearable Stage IV again. Garrett gave all the fight he had but the Lord called him home on June 29th. This is my chance to help make a difference! Childhood cancer is underfunded and you can help. Please make a donation and help me reach my goal. Join me on April 3rd as I take the stage to tell Garrett's story and shave my head!
