I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kamari

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kamari

Kamari's was diagnosed with a Malignant Rhabdoid tumor on March 7th 2014. He had 8 cycles of aggressive chemo therapy (6 different adult chemo therapy adult drugs). 25 days of radiation, and 2 major surgeries on his spine and chest wall. Kamari's is just over a year off treatment, and is currently showing NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE! Because of the aggressive treatment Kamari's suffers from many late effects. He has mild hearing loss, numbness and burning in his hands and feet, leg pain, scoliosis, kyphoscoliosis, chronic lung disease, and is having some issues academically. While Kamari's was in treatment two of the hardest things for him was being away from his dog Lyric, and losing his hair. Kamari's and his brother Josiah have been growing their hair since they last shaved it in May 2015 for the Albuquerque St Baldricks event. Kamari's loves his mohawk, but helping other kids with cancer is more important to him. Please help Kamari's and his Brother Josiah reach and exceed their goal.  I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
