TIME TO GROW MY HAIR!

As a proud member of the Manasquan VFW and the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh-Jersey Shore, the sponsors of this great event, I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  And yes, I will be letting my hair grow.  Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers and that childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures...again.  100% of the money raised goes directly to St. Baldricks. This year we have an Honored Child who was one of our shavee's in 2012.  Daphne is a local 12 year old beauty who was diagnosed in May 2015 with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  She was brave enough to shave her head in 2012 with her Mom and sister...and now we are shaving in her honor, but I need your help.  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers, so please consider a donation to this worthy cause.  Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
