I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Soccer Ball-Dees
My name is Paige Kuzniar. I am 12 years old and was inspired to shave by my teammate Emma's 8 year old sister, Regan. Our team was recently interviewed for the Your Niskayuna newspaper about shaving 3 of our teammates heads. When the reporter asked Regan why she was shaving her head she said that she was doing it so "...all the kids that have cancer and can't grow hair, don't feel alone." That really inspired me and I think everyone else on the team was also inspired because now all 9 of our players are shaving their heads. I'm so excited to be a part of this event and being able to help donate money for children's cancer research.
