I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I must admit, it's not easy for me to give up my luscious green hair. But after hearing that only 4% of government cancer funding goes to childhood cancer research (which is a whole different beast than adult cancer) I knew I needed to do something. As an older sister of a beautiful 10 year old girl, and as a teenager myself, I realized how lucky I am to have my health, and, most importantly, my gorgeous sister's health.

That's why I'm helping to raise money to kick cancer's butt. I want to make sure other people are as lucky as me. I want to make sure no one has to hear that a loved one has a disease that might kill them. I want to make sure no one has to suffer.
That's why I need you! Sadly, I'm not a billionaire (heck, I'm fifteen, I'm hardly even a thousand-aire) and I can't reach my goal of $1,000 alone. That money will go towards funding research that can save lives. Every dollar is one dollar closer to conquering childhood cancer. Join me to help save lives!
