This is just a ‘heads-up’ (HA HA) that I am having my head shaved Friday night at the St. Baldricks event.
I remember being so afraid for our niece Rachel when she was going through cancer. She continues to be well today, we are waiting for the results of the last scans she had 2 weeks ago. The sad part is that so many families do not have the outcomes we had and that really breaks my heart. I talked to Rachel last night and she reminded me that of all the kids in her cohort who received chemo treatments with her, she is the only one still living. I am so thankful to God for her result. More families need better outcomes. More dollars are needed.
So…if your are inclined to see my "bald is beautiful" head for a few months, please give.
Here we go!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
