I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team kill childhood cancer

I’m shaving my head because first of all, its to make money for kids with cancer and second of all so they feel like they fit in even without hair. All the girls and boys look perfect in their own ways because they make their inner beauty shine through. A world without cancer would be like a world without bullies .

During chemotherapy lots of awful chemicals go into children’s bodies which slowly kills their cells . It's just awful seeing how much pain kids go through when they have cancer and how life would be much better without it. I want to be that helpful change to make cancer die. We could start a bald fashion, have it be the way we always look and make everyone feel like they're not alone. When you tell someone you're shaving your head they get all proud and excited for you but I think it's more important that that. It’s because you are helping save lives that's the most important!

The other night I was at a fundraiser and I met this woman whose daughter died at age 7 from cancer and I want to stop that from happening to anyone else. I want to see kids grow up to get into a great college, get awesome grades, start a family of their own and do great things but without the funding for childhood cancer research we won't be able to see that happen soon enough. We could be losing a future president, someone that brings world peace or even worse, maybe the scientist that would come up with a cure for cancer. The next extraordinary thing could be just waiting to happen. It could just be around the corner but without the cancer funds we may never see every precious moment exist in a world without cancer. At any moment we can find a cure and celebrate the lives of children who had cancer and survived. Please help me get that money. Please donate so one day we can see a world without cancer. Thank you very much. This means so much to me!
