I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I have known people with cancer and always felt sad.  I cannot imagine what it would be like to actually have cancer.  Spending hours in the hospital, constantly taking medicine in the hope that I would be cured, getting weird looks wherever I go because of my bald head.

Children shouldn't have to wake up every morning, wondering when will be their last day with their family.

No one should have to experience cancer, a disease that can take your life and ruin the lives of the people you love.

Shaving my head for kids with cancer is really important to me.  I feel like I was sent to this world for a reason, and this is a part of the mission that I need to accomplish.  I thought about it for a long time, and I feel compelled to shave my head for kids who don't have a choice about losing their hair.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Please help me reach my challenge of raising $500.  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you for helping me, and thank you from all the children who will never get a chance to say thank you.
