I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Forest Roaders

It's that time of year again when I ask for your help to save kids' lives by donating to St. Baldrick's Foundation for pediatric cancer research. This year, however, I have some special help in that effort. My son Kevin has asked to join his dad to raise money for kids who are sick by getting his head shaved too. He wants to help kids who need it, but as a five year-old he doesn't understand much about cancer. Unfortunately, too many adults know families that are all too familiar with the disease and its impact. In the six years I have worked in my school district, we have had 2 students die and a third had lymphoma twice. The effect the illness has on their family and friends is overwhelming, but the loss of a son or daughter is indescribable. Please help keep any other kid and their family from having to endure the devastating effects of cancer, because growing up is tough enough without having to fight this terrible disease. Join us in ending pediatric cancer and sponsor Kevin and I for the St. Baldrick's Event on March 13 at The Max in McCook, IL. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Together we can beat childhood cancer. Thank You. Robert & Kevin Condon
