I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldy Sours

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldy Sours

Here are some interesting statistics I researched when I first became interested in participating for St. Baldricks:

- Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer.
- The average age of diagnosis is 6 years old.
- More than 40,000 children undergo treatment for cancer each year.
- As of now, 1 out of 8 children diagnosed with cancer will no survive.
In my time as an EMT and paramedic, I have seen children affected by cancer first hand. There is a certain feeling of helplessness that comes along with these encounters and knowing that you can only do so much. So with that, I've decided to try to do more.
I am trying to raise as much money as possible to help fund research for childhood cancer. Any little bit helps and would be much appreciated! On March 20th, I will attend an event where my head is shaven to show solidarity with the children who are currently fighting cancer.
