I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm old enough to understand what cancer is, the fear it inspires, and the destruction it leaves. What I cannot begin to understand is the every second of every day impact of pediatric cancer. This horrible disease affects not just person afflicted, but the entire family. Medicine alerts, chemo cycles, nutritional needs, infection fears, middle of the night trips to the ER, weeks or months where families are separated due to hospital stays- I cannot even comprehend. But, for families touched by childhood cancer, this is their reality. My brother's friend, Rachel's, sister, Mia, is 5-years-old and probably doesn't remember life before cancer. In support of her battle, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults, like Mia, fighting childhood cancers. I appreciate your support.
