Celebrating 25 Years

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Healthy Kids

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation head shaving event has become an annual Spring ritual held Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. On March 13, 2015, over 50 people will shave their heads in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the United States, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Thanks to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation we are fighting back. What began as a challenge between friends in 2000 has grown into the world’s largest volunteer-driven and donor-centered fundraising program for childhood cancer research! Since 2000, more than 222 million USD has been raised for childhood cancer research. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. We will be holding the special head-shaving event at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital between 10:00am to 2:00pm on Friday, March 13, 2015.
