I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Unfortunately childhood cancer hits way too close to home, especially this year. I am shaving my head in honor of Matthew Laitinen who is the son of Peter Laitinen who is a good friend and a great paramedic. Matthew was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma and has been receiving chemo treatments. As a brain tumor survivor myself I want to help eradicate this horrible disease and all childhood cancers. Kids should be able to be kids and not have to worry about doctors and hospitals and chemo treatments.  Please do your part and donate or even become a shavee or a shaver. Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance for your donations.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
