I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Matthew

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I will be shaving my head in honor of Matthew Erickson of Huntley. Matthew had surgery at 4 days old for hydrocephalus and at that time his parents were told the devastating news that he had a brain tumor. Matthew has underwent 5 surgeries and chemo, but he fought thru all of it and his parents and doctors remained hopeful!!! His last scans were stable and Matthew has now graduated to the Survivorship Clinic and is going to be 4 in December!! He has inspired me and my famand is such a strong little boy, definition of a true super hero!! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
