I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
TeamBrent
On March 29th (2 months from Maggie's 8th year of diagnosis) we will be shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! As most of you know Maggie battled stage IV n-myc amplified neuroblastoma at the age of 1. Maggie is alive today because of the funds raised in such events as St. Baldrick's that dedicate all the money to childhood cancer research. Maggie is a miracle!
Since 2011 my nephews, William's cousins, Lance and Colin have been shaving their heads for Maggie. Last year we joined them and have made the commitment to shave our head until we find a cure for neuroblastoma. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you for your continued support...Billy and William
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
