I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Drew's Crew

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Drew's Crew

3 1/2 years ago, our son DREW EILBACHER passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 23. This St. Baldrick's event was started to honor his memory by his wonderful friends at Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Company in conjunction with his family at the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, in March of 2012. It was a wonderful celebration of his life and a great honor to Drew and his family. The following year, his friends and family moved the event to Looney's in Bel Air. Many family and friends attend the event which has grown to encompass other very special individuals who are or were battling this terrible disease. Last year, 2014, the event grew even bigger and one of the highlights was that Drew's cousin, Caitlin, raised almost $1,600.00 in about 20 minutes and shaved her head at the event. She looks beautiful! In 2014 there were 3 (I believe) events in Harford County which raised almost a quarter of a million dollars to help fund childhood cancer research. What a miraculous accomplishment that is. Please join us and all of the amazing young people who expend so much time and effort to make this event such a success. We look forward to seeing you at Looney's Pub on March 7th, 2015 to share in the fun and support this important cause. Many, many thanks to all of his friends who started this event and to all who have joined in to make it such a success. Love to all of you - Momma Deb and Mr. Al! I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
