I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alan's Angels

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alan's Angels

First off, I want to thank all my family and friends, you have always been there for whatever I’ve done and extremely supportive no matter how crazy.  We all have found inspiration in our lives, many from people that we meet or heard; I am no different. Except I have been blessed to be inspired by a five year old. My buddy, Alan Sanders, who played many hours at Morgan’s Wonderland, died on January 17th 2013, just 70 days after his 5th Birthday. His smile was infectious and such a fun little boy; he will always be in my heart. Because of Alan, I am involved with St. Baldrick’s and will shave my head to raise money for Childhood Cancers. A child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes which means since Alan’s passing over 15,500 children have needed treatment for cancer. My hair for some money to find a cure is a no brainer; especially since hair will come back, unfortunately kids like Alan do not. I am asking for your help, whether it is $1, $2, $100, $1,000- whatever you can and feel comfortable with donating. I know there are many charities to donate to, I hope you will support my effort. I have a modest goal, but would love to blow that out and help as much as we can. Please go to https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/ronmorander  to donate or you can give me a check or cash directly.
