I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. My synagogue, Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas, has participated in the St. Baldrick's fundraiser for the past several years and has raised substantial funds for childhood cancer research. This year, in an attempt to substantially raise our totals, we have pitted the men/boy shavees against the women/girl shavees. I've been a donor in years past, but this year I've decided to become a shavee (and watch my curly locks drop to the floor) in hopes that you will help us beat childhood cancer....(and beat the men's team too!).
