I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I am shaving my head in honor of David Curtis, and so many of those amazingly brave young people out there. David and I met while I was in graduate school at the University of Maryland. Ironically, we were born 5 days apart at the same Air Force Base in California and met many years later, obviously we were meant to be friends! David fought hard, always setting goals for himself and most incredibly, always had a positive spirit. He lived years beyond what was predicted because he was a warrior. David lost his battle when we were 29, leaving behind a beautiful wife and daughter. I have been blessed with two healthy children and can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to have a child diagnosed with cancer. This is my way to pay it forward and I am asking you to do the same. I have set a goal of raising $2500.00 but will be going into my page and changing the amount to a higher number. I know with my incredible family and friends we can raise so much more together. I will be participating in the shaving event at Looney’s Pub in Bel Air, MD on March 7th. Stay tuned for details! Let’s get these donations rolling! Visit my page listed above to make your donation today! Love, Cin
