I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Sqrrl

Cancer sucks. I lost 2 grandparents to cancer and many close and extended family members and friends have been touched by this terrible family of diseases.

As bad as adult cancer is, childhood cancer is that much worse. Many of these children have their youth unfairly taken away and some of them unfortunately won't survive to have that full life that us lucky ones get.

I've been blessed to have healthy children. I don't even know how I would cope if my child would get a serious, or fatal disease. I don't want to know.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is dedicated to finding cures and supportive care for kids with cancer. People sign up to shave their heads to show solidarity with the many that will lose their hair during treatment. I'm signing up for the December 8th Hack/Reduce - St. Baldrick's event and shaving my head! If you are so inclined, please make a donation to this great charity.

Thank you.
