I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Friends
It is that time of year again – the St. Baldrick's day event is here
Every year since 2007 I have shaved my head to raise awareness of childhood cancer, and to raise funds for childhood cancer research.
Though the prospect of me with even less hair may be terrifying (several years ago my children likened my shaved visage to a naked mole rat), perhaps if I promise not to send a picture, you might consider a small donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation? It is a nice event, and the kids really enjoy coming to see (and help) their doctors and parents get shaved.
And for me it's a free haircut
Thanks for all your past and current support

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
