I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Did you know that childhood cancer is the leading cause of death in children in the United States? Globally, 250 kids lose their life to this disease every day, which adds up to 91,250 every year. Yet despite this alarmingly high rate, childhood cancer research/treatment is significantly underfunded and under advocated. Out of all the federal government funding given to different cancers, only 3.8% goes to children - and this is a problem, because the bodies of children can't always handle the same harsh treatments as adults. Often, a child survives the cancer itself, but either dies or is permanently affected by the treatment. This lack of awareness and funding has become unacceptable, and I would like to do my part to change things - which is why I will be shaving my head for St. Baldrick's. This cause is very important to me and this kids deserve to be fought for, so I would greatly appreciate donations of any size. Every little bit counts!
