I just lost my grandmother to cancer at the end of a long, rich, beautiful life. Putting my grief into something positive helps me cope, and I have a feeling she'd agree that giving kids a chance to grow up into the people they will become is a good way to honor her passing.
I cut my hair into a mohawk almost a year ago to celebrate surviving a turbulent time in my life. The hawk and I have had many great adventures together and it has served its purpose well, reminding me to cram as much fun, joy, love, and life into each day as I can fit even when the days are hard. I'd like to offer that same spirit to sick kids and their families, and I need your help in making as big an impact as possible. Whatever you can spare supports childhood cancer research and treatment. We're all in this together- thank you so much for your help.
