I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: H Quad

Through my life, I took my health for granted. I was able to run, play sports, enjoy my time with friends, and do things that other children and teenagers normally do. Though I hear about less privileged children, I never really gave much thought outside feeling pity at that moment. But now that I'm in my last year of college, I want to do something meaningful. It shames me a bit that it took me this long to realize that I have so much to give back to the community, and stand in support of those in need, but I would rather start now than continue my life and wondering what I could have done years before. And so, shaving my head is merely a small investment in hopefully finding a way to cure kids' cancer once and for all. These kids are so brave in facing and long, arduous and often painful trial, and I hope they realize that not only are their families and friends behind them, but there are thousands upon thousands of people who are cheering them on and doing what they can to support them. I hope that you, the reader, can make a difference as well! Every dollar that is donated goes purely towards researching cures for these children in the hopes that they will one day be able to enjoy the sunlight and be a child or teenager once more.
