I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Oxford PD
Alright folks! If you know me, you know I love a good cause and love a good competition probably even more. Well a local Police Department has extended a friendly fundraising challenge our way. You may be familiar with St St. Baldrick's Foundation, if not it is an organization that raises money to fight childrens cancer. Volunteers raise money by promising to shave their heads in honor of those children who are suffering. Said PD has challenged us to see who can raise more money. They got a head start (no pun intended) and we got some catching up to do! I have agreed to participate in the head shaving. Yes I know I have little hair to start with....no sacrifice right? Well I have promised to let my hair grow until shave day (minus maybe an occasional clean up or neck trim to keep it professional..I still have to work) which is over 7 weeks from now. I normally shave my head every 2-3 weeks so for me....that is gonna suck. SOOOO.......If you want to donate to this worthy cause, I would greatly appreciate it and so do the children!! Click DONATE above and fill in the blanks! No amount is too small! I have a goal amount listed but that's just because "As much as possible and more than the other guys" wouldn't fit...but that's my goal! Thanks guys! Oh, This picture is from today and Ill post some other pictures when my hair gets longer for you to laugh at!!
