At age 18, Cooper was just starting a new adventure in his life as a freshman at Ithaca College when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2013. Just days after his diagnosis, Cooper experienced serious complications which resulted in several life saving surgeries. Those setbacks did not stop cancer treatments and Cooper continues to undergo the multitude of chemotherapy treatments, tests and procedures which he will face for the next 4 years. In July 2014, he will also undergo yet another surgery. Our journey would not be possible without the love and support of family, friends and community. Pediatric cancers will effect more than 175,000 children, youth & young adults this year. We encourage you to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation. By giving to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're directly supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. We believe someday this will be possible.
