Hi my name is Matthew Briski. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research for an organization called St. Baldricks. I want to do this to make a difference and mainly because my oldest sister Alexis died of childhood bone cancer when she was 11 years old and going to Fisher Middle School. Alexis was a hero to me and I want to honor her by doing a small thing like shaving my head and raising money for the cause.
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
If you would like to make a donation I would appreciate anything. My goal is to raise $500.00
Here is a link to my webpage where you can make a donation. http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/708802/2014
There is a picture of me with hair. Pretty soon I won’t have any. I’m getting this note out late. The event is on March 14th this Friday.
Any donations help!
Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Matthew Briski
