I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: A Few Screws Loose

Hello All,
I wanted to share what’s been happening lately in regards to blessings since I chose to volunteer to be a shave for St. Baldricks. When I was approached about doing this, I said yes right away without knowing too much about the organization. As I started to research the types and impact of childhood cancer, I became very driven to help. I also remembered a young boy I knew from my home town that was diagnosed with Leukemia, at the time I was 17 years old and knew nothing about what that meant. I recently contacted his father, not knowing anything about that young boys health or current condition. His father told me the boy (Man now) is totally cancer free and is going to seminary to be a pastor. This past Sunday at church I met another young man (12 years old) that has a simply amazing story I wanted to share. It’s about 4 minutes long, but very powerful. I can't hyperlink on this site, but please copy the address below into your browser. http://vimeo.com/89925779 Afterward, I felt compelled to meet his family and ask permission to share his story. His mother and I talked and she personally knew several of the kids you will see on my page for St. Baldricks. These families have more than cancer in common, they have strength, hope, and a positive outlook. It’s a shame these kids go through all they do, and I’m asking for your help to join me in raising funds to stop this.
