The day before Thanksgiving of 2011, my 4-year old daughter, Jocelyn, was diagnosed with Precursor-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Jocelyn is now 6 and in remission but her treatment continues and the war rages on.
I have answered the call to be a hero in honor of my brave little girl Jocelyn. To also honor every child we have met and every child we haven't met continuing their fight, every child yet to begin their battle and every child who succumbed to this terrible monster. I have decided to have my head shaved to stand in solidarity with these children to raise money to find better, less toxic cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support all of these children, including my little Jocelyn! Thank you!
