I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Porter

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It’s true; and childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I will again have my head shaved on April 12th to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (www.stbaldricks.org) to help fund research to find cures for Childhood Cancers. This year a group of town employees is joining me in this effort as part of Team Porter. We are doing this in honor of Phoenix B., a young Chesterton resident, who is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). I would greatly appreciate any support you could offer. You can make donations online at one of two pages. My personal page is: http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/692463/2014 The Team Porter link is: http://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/mypage/92103/2014 You can also donate by check using the attached form. You can either mail the form back to them directly or give it to me and I will make sure it gets to the foundation. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Finally, I hope you will come out to the ARC on Valpo’s campus at noon on April 12th to see me lose my curls and cheer on Team Porter! It should be an interesting experience. Thanks, Greg
