I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fiscus

This is my 5th year as a shavee and a volunteer, helping to power and stage the event in the Village of Romeo. It is a very emotional and rewarding experience for me to be a part of this event. Each year I get an email from the organizers asking if I will help with power and lighting, yes!, I can't imagine not shaving anymore, I start with a $100 donation on my own head, then I fill my photo gallery with pics from past events, the excitement begins to build... Then comes the hard part, to ask for money. Last year the event leaped even higher to the 6th largest in the world by raising over $320,000. More and more people have shaved and raised money each year and this event has grown at an incredible pace. Many of you have given several years as well, the success of this event is proof of that. It is also inspiring others to join in along the way. Please help in any way that you can. Thank you for being a part of it! Mike Conner

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
