I'm cutting my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! My hair will then be turned into a wig by Pantene and donated to a cancer patient. In accordance with my goal to become a stellar teacher, providing children with opportunities and resources to improve their lives is very near and dear to my heart. I think the YouTube video (to the right) does an excellent job portraying why I am fundraising for St. Baldrick's.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
The future of our world needs your help. A small donation goes a long way. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
