It seems that each day life moves a little faster and it becomes a little easier to be overwhelmed by the many things vying for our attention. I know that; I am guilty of it myself. But it is important to periodically take time to consider the blessings in our lives.
This is the second year I've had the privilege of participating as a shavee in this charity. I choose to be a part of St. Baldrick's because I have the choice and the ability to help childhood cancer research. Some people might be in a position to give financially. For that I give my heartfelt thanks. Monetary donations are certainly needed. But the one thing I do ask is the gift of your time. Take a minute and think about the blessings in your own life. Be joyful for the gift that each new day brings.
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
