As part of the CHS council I'm a part of a St. Baldrick's fundraising effort. St. Baldrick's funds research on childhood cancer. A lot of the guys will shave their head if their fundraising goals are met.... I wont do that. I will however be grateful. I will be grateful that I am working toward preventing others from feeling the kind of pain that my family has felt. No one should have to know what it is like to lose someone when they are just a child. Sixteen years ago the community rallied around my family when my older sister lost her battle to leukemia. Now I want to rally around people who need me. Please consider donating and to pass on the link to others who you think may be interested. Fun fact: 82 cents of every dollar goes directly toward research. That's a high percentage! The other 18 cents go toward fundraising, t-shirts and salaries.
