I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! This is my second year doing this because of how amazing the experience was the first time around. I like to do this, not because I think I look good with a shaved head, which I must say I do, but because of that feeling of empathy that I receive for children with cancer. Kids with cancer have no choice with their hairstyle and my decision to go bald helps facilitate a feeling that all of them look absolutely beautiful no matter what. Other shavees and I are choosing to do this in order to show them that we are always fighting for this unrighteous disease that has taken the lives of many. So please, any contribution toward this battle would be much appreciated.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
