I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head for my grandpa. For my youth leader. And for my best friend. All three of these individuals has helped shape my life in a way that is unimaginable. For nearly a decade, cancer has been a taboo for me. Nothing to talk about, think about, or even acknowledge, but it's time I stop being passive and start being proactive. For some, losing their hair isn't an option, and what's losing mine if it means helping honor someone greater than myself? To me, shaving my head is just a fraction of the work I want to do to help raise money for a cause that has affected so many people.
