I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldy Sours

Family & Friends, We are extremely proud to announce that Cale (8 yrs) and Dane (5 yrs) have again decided to volunteer their time (and their hair!) in an effort to raise money and “help sick kids who can’t help themselves right now.” In addition, Kate and Jody are also participating via Locks For Love ponytail donations of 30 inches of hair between them! Click throughout the pictures on our site to see just how long the manes have become. We have each decided to participate and help to raise funds for pediatric cancer research in our own ways and the 4 of us are very excited to be a part of St. Baldricks efforts and Team Baldy Sours! The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research, is encouraging its many young volunteers and shavees to bring a friend and join the fight to conquer kids’ cancer! St. Baldrick’s is the world’s original head-shaving event that is specifically focused on raising money for pediatric cancer research. At St. Baldrick’s events, volunteers get bald to raise money and stand in solidarity with kids who typically lose their hair during cancer treatments. Since the first head-shaving event on St. Patrick’s Day in 2000, St. Baldrick’s has contributed more than $57 million dollars to pediatric cancer research and has held events all around the globe. In one way or another cancer has touched all of us, and in this small way, our family's team has chosen to help. Team Baldy Sours has welcomed us for a second year and we hope that we can help them maintain their top fundraising team title again this year. Please visit the team website, click ‘view all team members’, scroll down to view our joint website under Cale, Dane, Kate & Jody, and if you can, please donate even the smallest of amounts – it all counts! Thank you! Cale, Dane, Kate & Jody
