I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pattonville High School

Hi I’m Olivia Kaercher and I currently am in the 10th grade at Pattonville High School. In the last year, two teachers families at Pattonville High School have recently suffered from the presence of cancer. One of the families unfortunately lost their daughter in this fight. This year I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I will be cutting 10 inches of my hair off on March 15th at Holman Middle School for St. Baldricks! St. Baldricks is the organization that helps raise awareness of the importance of childhood cancer and promote the funds that are need to help improve research for it. There will be a district wide event held at Holman and anyone is allowed to participate! If you would like to participate yourself, you can get in contact with the organizer, Tammy, at tanderson@psdr3.org. I am really hoping to raise $1000 dollars for this event. It would mean the world to me if I reached this goal and I can only do that with your help. God bless,

Olivia Kaercher
