I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
When I was 12 years old, my Grandmother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She is still fighting almost 9 years later for her life. During these 9 years, she has lost what most women pride themselves on: her hair. I love my hair and can't imagine being put in a position where I don't have any. That's why I am shaving it for St. Baldrick's! To show her and kids battling cancer that they are not alone and to not let a disease define you. As much as I love my hair, what I would love more is to help some children out who battle cancer. Its time to invest in research to help these youngsters so they can fight off this disease and live long lives.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
