I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Miller's Bald Eagles

This will be our third year shaving our heads to show our support to family and friends who we have lost to cancer and/ or those who are battling it. It began when my daughter came home from Miller school asking her daddy to participate. At the moment he said no due to his work. However my 7 year old son, Donny, stepped up and said I'll do it for you. I was so proud of him not even hesitating for the cause. I told him if he raised $500, mommy would do it too not thinking it could be done. I should have known better. Word spread and our online account went over $500, so i kept my promise and we shaved together. It was one of the most moving moment of my life with my son. Then last year it was topped with myhusband and 12 year old daughter joining us to honor my father, Poppop Pimpinelli. To our surprise my mother, mother in law and sister in law came that day, donated and shaved their heads with us. This is our way to take time out of our busy schedules and be thankful for our blessings. Unfortunately, a dear young lady in our lives has begun her battle with childhood cancer and we will be raising money this year in her honor. So we will continue to do something about childhood cancer by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
