I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pre-K

“St. Baldrick’s Foundation” is a playful combination of “bald” and “St. Patrick’s Day”—the day our first event began. Today, the Foundation helps volunteers have fun shaving heads, while raising money to cure childhood cancer. So seeing that my family’s favorite holiday is St. Patrick’s Day and I want to see a cure for kids’ cancer, I need your help please! As a new Pre-K classmate at Our Lady of Lourdes grade school, my awesome school has hosted a huge St. Baldrick’s event for the last two years! On March 1st, 2014, Bearcats for Baldrick’s will go at it again and try to exceed the whopping $75,000!! I am still on the fence about shaving my head, but I thought it would be awesome to at least raise some money to CONQUER KIDS CANCER! Please help me meet my goal; every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This is a huge event at our parish, so if you want to come enjoy in the celebration, stop by for the shaving of the heads! My mommy will be updating my progress toward my goal and whether or not she talks me into shaving my head. Thank you, thank you for your consideration and please let us know if you have any questions. Walker Joseph Walukas

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
