I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've decided last year (2013) that I was going to do something completely selfless in 2014. Well, 2014 is here. I've been thinking about donating my hair for a little bit (as in the past few months) and I've made up my mind. Everyone I've talked to about this asked me why I just don't cut some of my hair off. My response? "Because people with cancer don't cut some of their hair off. Their hair is completely shaved off. If I'm going to donate to a cause, I want to participate 100% FOR the cause. Which means, being bald just like the cancer patients and giving them my hair so that they can have hair if they choose to. Plus, my hair will grow back." I'm signed up and ready to go for April. No turning back now! I'm doing this for personal reasons as well. Cancer has taken a few family member from me, and I want to help find a cure. I'd like my friends and family to help me me and join this cause. If you can't or don't want to donate your hair, at least donate a little money. A little bit goes a long way. Thanks for reading. Much love to you all. -Sam
