I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: ACB Pocatello

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: ACB Pocatello

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I'm also shaving my head to honor the memory of my best bud in high school Chrissy Brown (Anna Christina Brown... the ACB in Team ACB) because while she fought breast cancer bravely, she became a champion of finding cures for childhood cancers. She spent a lot of time in Cancer Centers and adored the kids she met while there. She passed in 2001 at the age of 34 and I still miss her greatly! I'm ALSO shaving my head for my friends the Nelsons. They lost their youngest child Andrew (the Andrew in our Pocatello event name Andrew's FUNraiser) at the age of 4 1/2 to neuroblastoma. March 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of his passing and I want to join them in recognizing his precious life! I'm also doing this to honor my great friends Denise O'Farrell and Cheryl Imlach, who are BRAVE cancer warriors/survivors!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
