I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Through Facebook, I reconnected with a friend from high school and in reading through her past posts I found out her daughter Brinley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (you can read her story here http://www.sweetbrinley.com/). I was moved by her family’s determination and spirit through their journey and found it very inspirational. At times, it brought a tear (or two) to my eye.

I haven’t had the pleasure to meet Brinley yet, however I’m doing this for her and children like her. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
