On December 7th of 2013 I shaved my head to raise money for my mom who is battling a rare form of bone marrow Leukemia. Through my event I raised a great deal of money to help my parents through this hard time, but it left me wanting to do more to help others fighting a similar battle. I have always loved children and being a former employee of Jillians this event has always touched my heart, so maybe I don't have much hair to shave right now, but I'm more than willing to get a team of friends together and raise as much money as possible for childrens cancer! I know I had a few of you that were willing to shave your head with me before, so I hope you will join me now and help me reach my team goal! Lets show everyone how beautiful bald really is and give kids with cancer a better tomorrow, I promise you I have NEVER felt more beautiful :)
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
