I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Mia's Peeps

The date of our St. Baldricks event is March 22, 2014 at H.O.M.E. Bar in Arlington Heights from 2pm-6pm. Again we will be joining the Lincolnshire Riverwoods Professional Firefighters event. At the 2013 event our Mia's Peeps team raised over $1700 which doesn't include the $775 Rachel (with our friend Ryan's help) raised on the spot! I think we had over 10 shavees raising funds for childhood cancer, and I know we can top that in 2014. A childhood friend (Dave) and his family are flying in and Dave and his 4 year old son Braeden are shaving, so are our good friends Brayden and his brother Quinn who are 8 and 6 years old! Dan's going to shave again this year, too! Mia will once again be one of the Honored Kids at the event and I am personally honoring some super kids on my page and Mia's Peeps team as a whole will be honoring them too! Please consider volunteering your time, donating to a meaningful organization, shaving your head to raise funds or just come on out and hang with us! It is such a powerful event, you will be moved!
