"Cancer stinks. But because of research I am in remission, and hope that one day childhood cancer can be a thing of the past." - Pietro, 12, St. Baldrick's Foundation 2011 Ambassador Kid I'm with Pietro. Cancer stinks, but despite being the number one disease killer of children in the US, it does not receive the same degree of attention as adult cancer. Next to the federal government, St. Baldrick’s is the leading supporter of childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's has been instrumental in supporting my research goals of discovering more effective and less toxic therapies for children battling cancer. Please help me give back, and help scientists and physicians grant Pietro's wish, to make childhood cancer a thing of the past!
