I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Gavin

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Gavin

My nephew Gavin was diagnosed with the rarest form of brain cancer at just 11 months old of age. That diagnosis rocked our world. How could this happen? Gavin had been given two to six months to live. We were so blessed he was in our lives. Sadly, Gavin joined the Lord on January 18, 2014. To keep Gavin's spirit alive and for all kids fighting cancer, I'm a volunteer with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Please support me, Gavin, Michael Orbany, and all the kids having their heads shaved to raise money for cancer research! To help fight this fight we started our first head shaving event at St Mark School on March 20, 2014. We hope to shave the heads of 10% of the student population. Kids really care about taking care of other kids who are sick. This is such a great event for all kids to come together to do just that.

With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
