Working in the Church, I have had the pleasure of meeting many different people from all different backgrounds and situations. I have had the honor of coming to know and love a great handful of families that have been affected by cancer. In my praying and walking with some of these families the Lord has really put on my heart to support them in some other way. A friend of mine participated in St Baldricks not too long ago and inspired me to be a shavee. Therefore, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. This wonderful foundation also is one of the few that does not support embryonic stem cell research.
